Erich Fuchs served as technician of Operation T4 and Operation Reinhard, associated with the installation of gassing equipment.   • Yad Vashem materials on Operation Reinhard preserve accounts concerning Fuchs's activities at Bełżec and Sobibór and the technical preparation of gas chambers.
  • Research on the Sobibór trial identifies him as responsible for installing and starting the engine used for gassing at Sobibór.
